Fellow A|R guy, Matt Fagioli has hit the big-time. He isn't going to say so, but I will.
Diamond Dwellings is listed as a finalist in the 2008 Inman Innovator Awards for Brokerage or Franchise. They are in some pretty heady company, too. Other finalists include Chase International, Sawbuck, Redfin and Russ Lyon Sothby's International. Not bad company for a little brokerage in Gwinnett County, GA! Here is a link to Inman's story.
If you've heard of Matt before, it might be because of REtechSouth, which he put together along with Brad Nix... also an A|R guy. **Gotta give Brad some props for being a new Dad, too...**
Matt and Brad talked some of the big names in Real Estate Web 2.0 into coming out for a little conference in Atlanta... and got a pantload of participants... in just a couple of weeks. Even Jon Washburn and Bob Stewart made the trek to the right side of the country to talk about A|R and other emerging technologies.
Or maybe it was Matt's association with AtlantaDwellings.tv? I used them recently on a video shoot for a property I listed (9010 Brixham Court). Of course, he was also at the "Party at the Palms" in Vegas... where he was trying to recruit everyone...
Anyway...
Congrats to Matt and Diamond Dwellings!
And they aren't the only A|R people that are getting props... Link. Steve and the Obeo crew.

I know that picture is from the AR party in Vegas (at NAR '07)
I guess I left before "the fun started" or something.
Dude, thanks for the post. We're pretty excited about our launch.
Matt - I don't remember you leaving. Did you notice the text for mouse-over on the pic?
And I was hoping I could get a feature for both you and Steve. It isn't every day that our members get nominated for this stuff...
I missed the Palms we were too tired to make the drive I'll be at the next one.
Terry - You missed a good one. I think that the next will be even better... from a personal perspective. When the Vegas Party happened, I knew a few people, and a few knew me (You're the car guy, right?). Now, I think there are a lot more people that know me, and I certainly know a LOT more people.
