Looking Out From the Garage: I just can't hold back any longer

I just can't hold back any longer

There are three things in music of which I'm not a big fan.

  • Reggae
  • Elvis
  • Led Zeppelin

Now, I'm not against any of them. Just, none of them hit my top 287 list. But, when one takes a little of each, and blends them together, there is magic. I wish I'd had my thinking cap on when I went out to Vegas for the NAR Convention. Viva Las Vegas...

Don't worry, I'm going to kick in another amazing video tomorrow.

Now, because this is a real estate blog... oh forget it, I can't even come up with an excuse. I'll have a better excuse tomorrow...

How could you not like Led Zeppelin?

Joseph - Not a big fan doesn't mean don't like.  I went through my Led Zeppelin phase 20+ years ago... and they haven't changed.  I have.  My world has moved on.

Lane - My world has also moved on but there is a place in the back of my mind that I like to visit once and awhile and Led Zeppelin along with Jimi Hendrix, Janice Joplin, Joe Cocker, Leon Russel etc are there playing.

Anon - They aren't like Lynard Skynard to me, I don't shoot the radio or anything.  And, I think that Jimi, Janice, and company died when I was around three.

I'd rather listen to Van Halen (with David Lee Roth).

So, gee, how could you not like Elvis?

Hi Lane,

LOL this rocks!! So that's what Elvis would be like today if he was still alive...

Is that Dread Zeppelin?  I've seen them in concert, they're amazing.

Sara - Long time, no see...  Maybe Elvis would be this cool... but he'd still be even a little older than the remaining original members of Led Zeppelin.  Maybe he'd be the way old, way fat Elvis...

Chris - Who else could it possibly be?  I certainly hope that there aren't two bands out there doing reggae covers of Led Zeppelin songs with an Elvis front-man.  It wouldn't be special if there was another band doing it...

LOL.  Just didn't look the same for some reason.  They are so much fun!

Funny thing, I saw Van Halen with David Lee Roth a couple of weeks ago.  I am actually wearing my Van Halen t-shirt today.

Chris - Until I ran across this, I just had the CDs... didn't really recall what they looked like.  Missed my chance to see them live locally.

Joseph - I saw their second tour as my first concert.. I was thirteen or something.
