I received an interesting call today. When I first came here, one of my first blog posts was about a phenomenon I called "House Stalking." Original post may be found here http://activerain.com/blogsview/123630/House-stalking. Well, today I had a call from a reporter with the New York Times that is doing a story on this. No, he didn't get the idea from me... I'm kind of relieved about that, too. But, apparently there are a bunch of us that have our eyes open for specific houses.
He promised to keep me updated on the progress of his article.
BTW, he found the blog from a Google search... so, we're on the map.

Yep but have you actually got an intervention order for it? Do you ever have that situation where the starter house you have is not big enough doesn't met your needs anymore but you can't find anything that you like to trade up too? I am stuck between a rock and a hard place. I don't want the stress and expense of building but I honestly couldn't find anything that I would like to buy. I started to look around neighbouring towns to see what was available
The I saw it. Quaint old style cottage from the front reflecting australian traditional federation broad front veranda. Broad leafy street. Extensive landscaping with easy to maintain front garden. Five bedrooms with study behind the cottage front. Two living areas. Hot handsome neighbour next door. Not enough room for the pool that I had planned but enough for a twenty seat swim/spa pool.
Then the hot neighbour got alarmed. Said I stalking him. now I can't go near the house because I have an intervention order. How do I buy the house of my dreams now?
