I'd watch this on TV several times in a row. (and this is NOT real estate related...)
Up until a few years ago, the American Rally Series (Rally America) had regular television coverage. But that has dried up. Too many college football games I guess. But auto racing needs sponsors. And sponsors need visibility to make it worthwhile.
Ken Block is one of America's Rally aces. He is bold, brash and talented. He is also very creative. He is delivering something of value for his sponsors... in a new and creative way. He has done several videos featuring his rally cars, from World Record setting jumps to amazing driving visuals.
This is his newest... An infomercial for one of his sponsors. They chew up a few minutes at the begining... and then it gets REALLY cool.
As a bonus, I included the first video... Amazing.

I have seen these before. Totally amazing. The camera shot that amazed me was the slo-mo of the light bulbs popping. Very cool stuf.
I wonder how many tires per mile he gets. What amazing control he has.
Jon - The guy has a gift... some of the videos he has out on YouTube are a blast.
Debe - I consider Rally driving to be kind of like dance... There is grace, power and rhythm.

Terry - I couldn't afford his tire bill. if you watch real carefully, in a few of the scenes it looks like a gray cloud... that would be tire. Not just smoke, but little pieces. Luckily, BFG likes the exposure and I would bet they brought a trailer full of tires... and the mounting machine.
Pretty amazing driving skill.
Sam - Absolutely. it will be interesting to see him in WRC competition in 2010.
