Wow... If you hadn't seen previously, Garrett has spent the last week in the Come and Get It Hockey Camp, put on by Dan Sullivan of the Gwinnett Gladiators. And let me tell you, he has had a BLAST.
For 8 hours a day, over 5 days, he has been up to his ears in hockey. The kids were on the ice for 3 one hours sessions each day, as well as off-ice physical activity as well as strategy and meal breaks.
Each day went something like this:
- breakfast buffet
- Power Skating
- snack
- Strategy/break (for the little guys)
- Stick/Puck Handling
- lunch
- Physical Games
- Scrimmage Game
The staff of 6 coaches as well as several off-ice assistants kept the kids busy and in line. And after hanging out with the kids much of the day today... they were eating VERY well.
