I was listening to a little music while watching videos for my Video Sunday post on LaneBailey.com, and I had an errant thought. Those that read me with any regularity know that errant thoughts are pretty normal for me, so no shock there.
But I got to thinking about music and virtual tours.
I flashed back to opportunities to select music for virtual tours... and I was trying to think, what would a buyer want to hear as they peruse this exceptional property? Honestly, I keep coming up with a big nothing.
- Classical?
- Pseudo-rock?
- Classic rockish?
- Country?
- Oldies?
- Big Band?
- Contemporary?
- Gangsta Rap?
- Techno-fusion?
- Trance?
Seriously, there are a LOT of choices, and I don't know that any of them are good. But no music isn't that great of a choice, either.
Of course, the fun part of the post (and a few future posts) is exploring the options others have taken. Luckily (for someone), I don't think that linking or embedding REALLY bad virtual tours and making fun of the perpetrators passes muster with the NAR Core of Ethics. But I think I have found a way around it...
Over the course of the next couple of ________ (what? You don't see where it says "until I get bored"? You see lines? Really? Hmm) I'll chronicle some REALLY bad virtual tours.
