I got the first draft back in November... actually while I was at the NAR Convention in Vegas. It has obviously been a long road. And, while it isn't perfect... yet... I am quite happy with the concept. I have installed a small version on my website, and will be incorporating it into my other marketing materials over the next few weeks and months.
I've actually already fiddled with it a little (Hot Rodder at heart, nothing stays the way it came!). The version on my website, while smaller, has had the contrast punched up and is a bit crisper.
If I had to do it all over again, I might select a different company to produce the artwork, but I have to say that as of this moment I like the concept.
The big question is how well will it resonate with my target audience.
I'm already looking at running out a line of different vehicles to use for different audiences (exotic car, Jeep, classic car, motorcycle, etc.). While I know that it might dilute the brand a little, it might overcome that by connecting with the viewer in a more positive manner.
Before too much longer I think it will be replacing my face on most of my materials... but I want to hot rod it some more.
